What happens before you choose

Evidence Arcade does not load Google Analytics or request the Adsterra advertising script before consent. Our hosting and security providers may process standard request data needed to deliver and protect the website. The compatibility checker runs in your browser.

What we measure if you allow analytics

• Page views, page titles, and page paths.
• Clicks from a source note to its official or reliable source, identified only by the public Source ID.
• The compatibility checker result category: pass, fail, or review.

Google Analytics may also process session, browser, device, and approximate location information as part of its standard measurement service. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google Signals are disabled by this site.

What we do not send

We do not send the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, operating-system selection, or any other value entered into the checker. The site has no user accounts, contact form, or user-provided-data collection.

What happens if you allow advertising

The site loads one 320×50 Adsterra banner below the page content. We do not enable Popunder, Social Bar, Smartlink, Native Banner, or adult-ad formats. Adsterra says its ad service can use cookies and pseudonymous identifiers linked to browser and ad events, including impressions and clicks. Adsterra and the advertisers it serves control that third-party processing; Evidence Arcade does not receive your name, email address, checker inputs, or payment information through this banner.

Your choice and how to change it

Your separate analytics and advertising choices are stored in your browser so the site can remember them. If analytics are allowed, Google Analytics can set first-party cookies. If advertising is allowed, Adsterra or its advertising partners may set third-party cookies or similar identifiers. Use the “Privacy choices” button on any page to refuse future requests. The page reloads when you withdraw a previously granted choice; you can also clear site data and third-party cookies in your browser.

Purpose and retention

We use aggregated analytics only to learn which ReStory questions deserve clearer or better-supported pages. GA4 data is not shared with Adsterra for ad personalization. The GA4 property uses the shortest available user-level data retention setting. Adsterra separately reports ad impressions, clicks, and revenue to the publisher dashboard.
