ReStory system requirements: can your PC or Mac run it?
Quick answer: ReStory lists modest Windows minimums and native Apple-silicon Mac support. The publisher says the launch build is Steam Deck “Playable,” but not yet Verified. Recommended specifications are not listed.

Decision helper
Check your listed minimums
Steam lists a GTX 750 Ti as the minimum. Confirm that your GPU is at least comparable; model names alone can be misleading.
This browser-only helper stores nothing and cannot test drivers, thermals, frame rate, or compatibility layers.
What is not confirmed
Windows and macOS are listed as supported platforms. The Mac minimum specifically requires an Apple processor.
The publisher’s August 4 launch notice says ReStory would be Steam Deck “Playable” at launch, not Verified, and that verification work was continuing.
Recommended specifications, target resolution, target frame rate, and Linux support are not published on the checked store page.
What the checker can—and cannot—tell you
Meeting a minimum means your entries do not fall below the publisher’s listed floor. It does not prove stable frame rate, a particular resolution, driver compatibility, thermal headroom, or support for an emulation or compatibility layer. Laptop GPUs with familiar names can also behave differently from desktop versions.
Frequently asked questions
Will ReStory run on an Intel Mac?
The checked Steam page says “Requires an Apple processor” and lists Apple M1 as the minimum. An Intel Mac therefore does not match the official minimum.
Is ReStory Steam Deck Verified?
No. The publisher’s August 4 launch notice describes ReStory as Playable, not Verified, and says the team is still working on verification. That is a compatibility category, not a promise about frame rate or battery life.
Is 1 GB really enough free space?
One gigabyte is the official listed minimum. Keep extra free space for platform overhead, downloads, patches, and temporary files; the publisher does not give a separate buffer figure.
Why is there no FPS table here?
No first-hand hardware benchmark was performed for this release, and the official page gives no target frame rates. A made-up performance table would be more harmful than an explicit unknown.
