Does ReStory support controllers?

Yes, but the official Steam data labels it Partial Controller Support, not full controller support. The same response also contains DualShock and DualSense controller-support categories.

What “partial” means for this guide

The category establishes controller support, but it does not identify which moments may still need a mouse or keyboard. The official response also does not provide a complete button map, controller-by-controller test matrix, dead-zone settings, or a claim about every third-party pad.

Until a versioned first-hand test exists, this page will not promise that the entire game—from launch to text entry and menus—can be completed without another input device.

Steam Deck is a separate status

Controller categories and Steam Deck verification are related purchasing questions, but they are not the same claim. The publisher described the launch build as Deck Playable, not Verified. That does not convert partial controller support into full support.

Verification note

The live store page and its official appdetails response are checked together because either presentation can change. Revise if Steam adds Full Controller Support, removes a device category, or official patch notes document an input change.
