Is ReStory Steam Deck Verified?

No. In the official August 4 launch notice, the ReStory team said the game would be marked Playable on Steam Deck at launch—not Verified—and that work toward verification was continuing.

What this answer does—and does not—tell you

Confirmed

The publisher explicitly used the Steam Deck “Playable” category for launch.

Not Verified

The same announcement explicitly says the game was not yet Verified.

Not tested here

Frame rate, battery life, control prompts, text size, docking, suspend/resume, and long-session stability.

“Playable” should not be rewritten as “runs perfectly.” It also should not be rewritten as “unsupported.” The official statement sits between those claims, and Evidence Arcade has not performed a first-hand Steam Deck test.

Why the answer changed from the earlier store snapshot

The first gold-standard draft preserved the Steam store’s then-visible “Unknown” state. During the accepted-site expansion, the August 4 publisher notice supplied a more specific launch status. The page was therefore corrected to Playable/not Verified rather than keeping an outdated fact for consistency.

Evidence boundary

The dated publisher status is checked alongside the live Steam product page. This is still a category-status answer, not a hardware review. A later Valve badge, live-store change, or publisher notice should replace this launch snapshot.
